He has written twenty-three technical books on game development and presented eighteen video-training courses. These cover game-play programming, Unity development, 3D modelling, animation and more. Additionally, Alan has worked in game development education as a Senior Lecturer at Teesside University, a Visiting Lecturer at London South Bank University, and a Lead Teacher for Uppingham School. He is currently Head of Department for the internationally-renowned Masters Degree of Games Design and Development at the National Film and Television School.
