Planning application for a new Park Inn by Radisson Hotel at the entrance to London Luton Airport has been submitted by Ramesh Dewan.

The hotel will consist of over 160 bedrooms and will be completed in time for the 2012 Olympics subject to planning permission being granted.

Ramesh Dewan owns the first Hampton by Hilton in Europe, which he built in Corby. He also owns the Park Inn at Doncaster, which he built in 2008.

Over the last 30 years Ramesh Dewan has completed industrial and office developments consisting of several million square ft in locations such as Burnley, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Liverpool, Sunderland, Doncaster, Mansfield, Gateshead, Birmingham, Plymouth and many locating in Scotland and Wales. These developments consisting over 400 factories and office buildings have been instrumental in creating many thousands of jobs.

Ramesh Dewan has successfully completed buildings for organisations like, Britax, Inland Revenue, Job Centre, British Gas, Lucas, Stirling Council, North Wales Police Authority, Scottish Enterprise and Welsh Devolvement Authority and a 200,000 sq ft complex for the DVLA in Swansea.

Park Inn has been developed as a fresh and dynamic mid market winner - bringing colour to life and priding itself on mastering the essentials better than the competition. This concept has been successful: In 2009, Park Inn won the prestigious J.D. Power Award for the highest guest satisfaction in Europe in its category. Also Rezidor's design- and service concept conscious First Class- and Full Service brand Radisson has been awarded recently: In spring 2010, it overtook Hilton as Europe's largest upper upscale brand.

The proposed Park Inn by Radisson at London Luton Airport is going to be leased to Hotel Solutions Ltd. Ramesh Dewan has already committed to investing in a chain of Hampton By Hilton hotels which he has undertaken to lease to this company.
