Northbrook College Sussex specialises in a range of practical industry-led degrees. These include Art, Design, Fashion, Media, Graphics, Performing Arts, Music, Engineering, Business and Computing. The college is situated in Worthing on the south coast, approximately 20 minutes by rail from the city of Brighton and one hour from Portsmouth. Northbrook College is an affiliated college of the University of Brighton, which means that its degree courses are validated by the university. In addition to traditional BA and BSc degrees, the college offers other university-level qualifications such as two-year Foundation Degrees and equivalent Higher National Diplomas. After these two-year courses, students have the option of continuing for a third year leading to a BA or BSc. Northbrook prides itself on its supportive learning culture. Teaching groups are kept small, with higher than average contact time with tutors. Additional support is also offered to students with difficulties such as dyslexia. Northbrook’s facilities include a professional on-campus theatre, aerospace hangar and extensive music recording studios with industry standard equipment. There are impressive workshops, studios and machinery for design, craft and engineering subjects. Northbrook students exhibit their work every year at prestigious shows in London, such as Graduate Fashion Week, New Designers and the Free Range graduate art show. They have won a string of prizes at these events as well as being offered jobs. Contact
