Who said men should get all the glory when it comes to sport?

A team of passionate, committed and talented young female students hand picked by Nike Women are about to show men and women all over the UK that girls are damn good at sport too. These sporty ambassadors will be working hard over the next year to raise the profile of women in sport at their universities and in their local area. Their message is simple; sport is open to any woman, anywhere, of any ability. So who are these champions of sport? They are the Nike Selects.

Embodying the spirit of Nike Women, Nike Selects are a team of inspirational young ladies who will have the chance to use their enthusiasm and commitment to sport to encourage other women to get train to be stronger both in body and in mind.

The Nike Selects will work for Nike Women’s online campaigns, attend Nike events and liaise with Nike athletes all with a view to change the perception of sports for women.

Selects will also work with British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) to inspire fellow young women to take up sport at university.

Over the last four months, exceptional female athletes have been auditioning to become Nike Selects and now the final line up has been chosen. Those who made it displayed confidence, passion, creativity and an ability to inspire and educate others to participate in sport.
