This 3 year programme has much in common with BSc Computer Science and BSc Computing, giving this course a wide spectrum for study, and also allowing you extra freedom in your module choices.The first year introduces you to general hardware and software, applications of the Internet and programming. The skills learned in the first few terms are honed in the following years to give you a sound knowledge of Mobile Computing.
The second year concerns more complex systems such as data modelling and structural programming. You will also look at employment skills and how these can be enhanced with specific reference to the Mobile Computing industry.
Your final year draws on all the theoretical and practical lectures you have experienced. Culminating in your final independent project, you will also explore different business models for commerce and the functions and applications of wireless technology, an invention that is synonymous with contemporary society.
